A tragic collision at 2:45am on Saturday, 12 November 2022, claimed the life of a woman on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 near Dartford Heath. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but sadly, the woman was declared dead. Her next of kin have been informed.
Lorry Hits Woman After BMW Stops on Coastbound Carriageway
The crash involved a white DAF lorry and a grey BMW. Reports say the woman had been travelling in the BMW, which had come to a halt on the coastbound side before the fatal collision occurred.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the smash, forcing the closure of the London-bound road. The coastbound carriageway reopened at 10:15am, but restrictions remained in place as the inquiry continues.
