Serious Crash on Lower Road Leaves Two with Major Injuries

Just before 9am on Friday (13/11), a black Volkswagen Tiguan and a white BMW smashed together on Lower Road, causing serious injuries.

Two Hospitalised with Broken Bones

A 28-year-old woman in the Volkswagen and a 23-year-old man driving the BMW suffered severe leg injuries, including broken femurs and pelvis fractures. Both were rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where they remain in serious condition.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

No arrests have been made so far. PC Craig Ridgley from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing urged anyone who was driving in the area at the time to come forward.

“This was a serious collision which has resulted in two people requiring hospital treatment,” said PC Ridgley.
