Paramedics Spot Stabbing Victim
Emergency services raced to Sleaford Green just after 3pm on Thursday, 21 April 2022, following reports of a man suffering multiple stab wounds. Paramedics quickly alerted police, sparking a large-scale response.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
The victim, a man in his late 20s, was left with serious, life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to Norfolk and norwich/" title="Norwich" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Norwich University Hospital, where he is now in stable condition.
Three Arrested After Police Manhunt
Armed police units and a drone swarmed the scene during the investigation. Their efforts led to the arrest of three suspects – two teenagers aged 17 and one aged 19. Two were detained on Roseberry Road around 4pm, and a third was arrested in Sleaford Green shortly after.
Drugs Charges Added to the Mix
All three remain in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre, being quizzed on suspicion of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH). One 17-year-old is also facing drug possession charges, linked to Class A and B substances.
