Police Ramp Up Crackdown on Antisocial Behaviour in Broxtowe
Visible Patrols Target Trouble Spots
Following a surge in antisocial behaviour, police have stepped up patrols in Broxtowe’s hotspot areas. Officers are working hard to tackle troublemakers head-on while offering reassurance to local communities.
Building on Operation Potassium Success
This crackdown builds on the earlier wins of Operation Potassium. Inspector Mike Ebbins, Broxtowe’s District Commander, said: “We’ve seen antisocial behaviour spike again. We’ve listened to concerns and taken positive action.”
“Despite our success with Operation Potassium 1, we’re not complacent. Tackling antisocial behaviour remains a top priority.”
“We’ve ramped up patrols that will stay for the foreseeable future. Officers will deal robustly with those causing trouble, including patrolling on trams to keep people safe.”
