Police Copter Helps Nab Suspect in Canterbury Knife Scare
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in Canterbury after a late-night disturbance sparked fears of a knife being involved.
Drama on the High Street
Police were called to Canterbury High Street just before midnight on Thursday, 11 July 2019. Witnesses reported a group causing chaos, with one individual believed to be carrying a knife.
Suspect Caught Hiding on Roof
Thanks to a police helicopter, officers tracked down a man matching the suspect’s description hiding atop a building on Orange Street around 1am. He was swiftly detained with no injuries reported.
