Woman Attacked and Robbed by Teens at Cosham Playing Field
Police are probing a robbery at King George V playing field, Cosham, after a 46-year-old woman was attacked by a gang of teens on Sunday, 2 June.
Helmet Blow and Mugging in Broad Daylight
Between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, the woman approached a group of about six teenagers on the field. Suddenly, one boy struck her on the head with a white motorcycle helmet, knocking her to the ground. Another teen then kicked her.
While she got out her purse, one of the boys snatched it — along with her handbag and phone. They left her bag behind, but £50 was taken from the purse.
