Young Woman Found Seriously Injured on Damerham High Street
Police in the New Forest are hunting for answers after an 18-year-old woman was found with serious head injuries on Damerham High Street.
Mystery Injury After Night Out
The woman had left the Compasses Inn around 10.30pm on Thursday, 16 March. She was discovered at about 5am the next day, lying on a grass verge. A passerby found her and raised the alarm.
Fractured Skull and Missing Phone
The young woman can’t recall how she got injured. She’s been treated for a fractured skull and hearing loss. Adding to the mystery, her mobile phone is missing.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
DC Jenna Osman said: “We have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries but still don’t know what happened. If anyone saw anything suspicious, please come forward and help us solve this.”
