Man Arrested After Man, 36, Shot Dead in Front of Wife and Child on Christmas Eve

A brutal shooting left Flamur Beqiri, 36, dead just yards from his home on Battersea Church Road, south-west London, on Christmas Eve. The Swedish national was gunned down in cold blood in front of his wife and child.

Targeted Attack Suspected

Police believe the killing was a “targeted attack.” A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He was detained at 1 Airport under a European Arrest Warrant and is now awaiting extradition back to the UK, the Metropolitan Police confirmed.

Lone Gunman on the Run

Detective Inspector Jamie Stevenson revealed that Flamur Beqiri was shot multiple times by a lone attacker, who escaped on foot immediately after the shooting.
