Teen Girl Attacked Near Craven Arms Station in Midnight Horror
Police were called at 1.43am this morning (Thursday 15 April) after a 17-year-old girl was reportedly attacked walking through an alley near Craven Arms Railway Station. The assault is believed to have happened around midnight, shortly after the victim got off a train from Ludlow.
Crime Scene Under Guard as Police Hunt Attacker
Officers are scouring the area and have set up a scene guard. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives leaving no stone unturned.
Police Vow Increased Patrols Amid Community Fears
Shrewsbury Detective Inspector Dafydd Jones said: “We understand incidents such as this are extremely concerning to the community. We are following every line of enquiry and boosting patrols while the investigation continues.”
“There are a significant number of officers dedicated to this case. The scene guard will stay overnight as they carry out searches and enquiries.”
