Eyewitness Tells of Reckless Supercar Driver

A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said the supercar was a hire vehicle frequently seen speeding around the area and taunting police. The driver allegedly overtook stationary traffic before spotting a speed camera near the traffic lights, sparking the crash.

“He is always racing around in it and winding up the police. He overtook all the stationary cars and then saw the speed camera.”

Fire Brigade Responds – Miraculously No One Trapped

The London Fire Brigade deployed three fire engines from Addington and Croydon fire stations to the scene just before 7pm. Thankfully, no motorists were trapped inside the damaged vehicles.

“No persons were trapped in any of the cars involved. Injured people were in five of the vehicles,” confirmed a fire brigade spokeswoman.

The dramatic crash has left residents shaken while emergency services continue their investigation into the incident.
