As of 9am on April 21, the UK has smashed through half a million COVID-19 tests, clocking a total of 535,342. On April 20 alone, 18,206 Brits lined up for testing. Out of 397,670 people tested, 129,044 came back positive.
Tragically, by 5pm on April 20, 17,337 patients who tested positive and were hospitalised have lost their lives across the UK.
