Woman, 28, Arrested After Man Found Dead in Suffolk Park

Horror in Lowestoft’s Sparrow’s Nest Gardens

Emergency crews rushed to Sparrow’s Nest Gardens in Lowestoft shortly after 10pm on Friday, where a man in his 50s was found unconscious and unresponsive. Despite frantic efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have launched a full murder probe into the shocking death.

Suspect Held at Scene

A 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder at the park and is now being held and questioned at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre. Authorities say the victim and suspect knew each other, and the incident appears to be isolated.

The victim’s family have been informed of the tragedy.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Suffolk Police confirmed a Home Office post-mortem will determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, officers are urging anyone near Sparrow’s Nest Gardens at the time to come forward.

Motorists with dashcam footage are especially encouraged to help the investigation.
