Predatory Paedophile Paul Ingham Jailed for Horrific Child Sex Abuses
Paul Ingham, 63, from Agbrigg, Wakefield, was locked up on Friday, 29 July at Leeds Crown Court. The vile offender was found guilty of multiple child sex offences stretching over 12 years.
Shocking Crimes Exposed
- Five counts of causing or inciting a child aged 13-15 to engage in sexual activity
- One count of penetration assault on a girl under 13
- Five counts of sexual touching on a girl under 13
- Rape of a girl under 13
The crimes took place between 2004 and 2016. Ingham was slapped with a lifetime restraining order and a sexual harm prevention order.
Police Praise Victims’ Bravery
“I would like to thank and commend the two victims for their immense bravery in reporting such horrendous abuse,” said Detective Sergeant Heather Brady from Wakefield District Child Safeguarding. “Their courage ensured Ingham’s criminal behaviour was exposed and stopped.”
DS Brady added, “This sentence reflects the seriousness and ongoing nature of these offences. Ingham is a dangerous, predatory man who deserves to be behind bars.”
