Chaos at 2.27am: Police Rush to Scene
At around 2.27am on 5th November 2023, the Metropolitan Police rushed to reports of a multi-person fight near Southwark Street. Officers quickly arrived to find two men viciously injured.
Stab Wounds and Head Injury: Victims Rushed to Hospital
- One man suffered multiple stab wounds.
- The other sustained a serious head injury.
Both were given urgent medical care on-site before being taken to hospital. One victim remains in a critical, life-threatening condition. The second man’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening, offering a glimmer of hope.
Roads Closed, No Arrests Yet
Southbridge Road and Marshalsea Road were shut down as emergency teams controlled the scene and treated the victims. So far, police have made no arrests and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
