Dangerous Mental Health Unit Escapee on the Run in Enfield

Detectives in Enfield are hunting for Aaron Moore, 31, a violent mental health patient who fled custody outside North Middlesex Hospital. The public is warned not to approach him.

Manhunt Underway After Hospital Breakout

Moore escaped on Thursday, 20 June at around 3:30pm while being escorted by three hospital staff. Although handcuffed, the 6ft tall, heavyset man slipped away near the A406.

He is described as a light-skinned Black male, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black trainers.

Paranoid Schizophrenic With History of Violence

Moore suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and has a known record of violence. Police stress he is dangerous, especially since he’s not had his required daily medication since fleeing.

On Friday morning, 21 June, he was spotted on CCTV withdrawing a large sum of cash from Nationwide Building Society in N17.

Police Urge Public: Do Not Approach!

“Extensive efforts are being made by my investigation team to locate this dangerous individual who is unlawfully at large,” said Detective Inspector Paul Ridley of North Area CID.

“If you see this man, please do not approach or challenge him but dial 999 immediately.”
