Person Hit by Train Near Portsmouth Harbour – All Lines Blocked

Emergency crews rushed to the scene after a man was struck by a train close to Hilsea station between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant. Rail services are currently at a standstill with all lines blocked.

Police Confirm Incident

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “BTP can confirm a male has been injured after being struck by a train close to Hilsea station on Monday, 30 December 2019. Officers attended the incident following a report at 8:38am. The case is currently being treated as non-suspicious.”

Man Has ‘No Obvious Injuries’

A representative for South Central Ambulance Service added the man sustained “no obvious injuries” and was being taken to a place of safety for further assessment.
