Tragedy on Aston Roads: Man Dies in Late-Night Crash

A man has died and four others were hurt after a two-car smash at Aston in the West Midlands late Monday night. The horror collision happened around 11:40pm at the Victoria Road and A34 Sixways Island junction.

Emergency Crews Rush to Scene

West Midlands Ambulance Service sprang into action, sending two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, plus a critical care team from Midlands Air Ambulance. The first responders arrived within six minutes to find one car overturned with five men inside.

One Dead, Three Seriously Injured, Others Treated Onsite

The ambulance service spokesperson revealed that the first man was critical, with crews delivering life support at the scene. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead on site.

  • One man flown to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
  • A third man with less serious injuries also taken to hospital.
  • Two more men suffered minor injuries; they refused hospital treatment and were released with advice.
