Officers say two white women, both in their early 20s, were seen approaching the public claiming to raise money for charity. However, the charity is completely bogus.
One victim gave £10, only to later find £100 had been swiped from their account. The suspects cunningly pretended to be deaf to gain sympathy and trust.
