Ram-Raid Ruin: New Lloyds ATM Set to Arrive by Month’s End

Lloyds Bank in Bishop’s Waltham is bouncing back after a brazen ram-raid left its ATM wrecked. Thieves rammed the cash machine in February but walked away empty-handed, leaving behind a trail of damage.

ATM Damage Sparks Closure Fears

Since the attack, the branch has been without a working ATM, sparking rumours it might never be replaced and raising doubts about the branch’s future. But Lloyds has quashed closure concerns.

Replacement ATM to Be Installed Promptly

A Lloyds spokesperson confirmed, “All efforts are being made to have a replacement ATM in place as soon as possible. We currently anticipate this will be before the end of July at the latest.”

They added, “We apologise to our customers for this disruption in service while the ATM was being replaced.”

Locals can expect the shiny new cash machine back in action by the end of the month, restoring vital banking services to the community.
