Emergency Services Launch Dawn Rescue for Missing Duo Near Southampton
Coastguard search and rescue teams were scrambled at first light today after reports of two people in the water near Northam Bridge, Southampton.
Massive Multi-Agency Search Underway
Just after 5am, Hampshire Constabulary alerted a joint response involving Hill Head Coastguard Rescue Team, South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, RNLI Calshot Lifeboat, and Hamble Lifeboat.
The teams launched an intense search for the pair believed to have fallen from a capsized boat. So far, nothing has been found in the water.
Search Shifts to Land as Hunt Continues
Officials now focus on land-based efforts to locate the missing individuals. The search is ongoing as emergency services work tirelessly to bring the situation under control.
