Dramatic Water Rescue in East Sussex

An urgent call at 1:41pm on Tuesday led to a rapid rescue at Forest Dene, Jarvis Brook. A person found in distress in the water was pulled to safety by East Sussex Fire Rescue Service.

Fire Crews Rush to the Scene

<pTeams from Crowborough, Lewes, and Battle raced to the water’s edge and managed to haul the individual out safely. Quick action by the crews stopped what could have been a tragedy.

Safety Warning Issued

The rescue service thanked the public for their swift reporting and urged everyone to stay vigilant around water, especially as temperatures start to climb. “Be careful near water,” they warned. “The warm weather can lure people into dangerous spots.”
