Yobs Force closure of Poplar Southsea Cafe

A break-in at a popular local café and tea room has forced the business to close for the foreseeable future. Jam & Bowler, at the junction of Albert Road and Victoria Road South, Southsea  was visited by thieves on Monday morning, and the destructive yobs caused so much damage the owners are now unsure when they will be able to re-open to customers.

The devastating announcement, posted on their FaceBook  page within the last hour, reads, “Due to a break-in in the early hours of Monday morning, J&B will be closed for the foreseeable future. “Although nothing of great value was taken, the damages they caused to our shop has forced us to close. “Sorry for any inconvenience. We hope to get open again as soon as possible!” The upset owners are  appealing  to anyone who may have seen or heard anything to contact the police on 101 immediately.  Footnote: We are so sorry to hear this horrible news and wish J&B all the best in restoring their lovely little snug in the heart of Southsea to it’s former glory.
