RNLI Yellow Welly Relay to Raised much needed Funds for Life saving

For the past two days the RNLI Portsmouth Lifeboat have been hosting a yellow welly that has been travelling around the coast from lifeboat station to lifeboat station. The original idea was to highlight our Mayday fundraising month. However as it has travelled around it has highlighted what wonderful, inventive, committed, professional and talented people RNLI crews and supporters are. Crew in kit then walked it down to Southsea Castle where our RNLI lifeguards boarded it around South Parade Pier and it was relayed by crew to the Lifeboat Station to watch over a BBQ with Stormy Stan. On Sunday it went to the Camber in Portsmouth where it was handed over to Hayling Lifeboat to be taken to their station and from there it will continue in a relay on its way. The Spinnaker Tower was also turned yellow in support of the RNLI.
