Camden Rape Suspect E-Fit Released – Police Urge Public Help
Detectives hunting a rapist in Camden have unveiled an e-fit of a man they want to track down. The shocking attack happened after a night out at the Electric Ballroom on Camden High Street.
Woman Attacked Walking Home
On Sunday, 26 November 2017, a 21-year-old woman left the concert with friends and later headed to a nearby pub. She left the pub at 2:20am and was walking alone down Camden Mews.
While wearing headphones, the woman was grabbed from behind. The attacker punched her several times and kicked her legs, knocking her to the ground before raping her.
Suspect on the Run
The man fled the scene in an unknown direction. Police describe him as a white male, aged 25-35, with dark hair and a moustache. He may speak with a Manchester accent.
Police Plea for Witnesses
Detective Constable Alastair Semple said: “This was a horrific attack on a woman who was heading home after a night out with her friends. I urge anyone with information to come forward and help us catch this dangerous individual.”
