Woman Critically Injured in Chingford Hit-and-Run Horror
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a woman was left fighting for her life following a shocking crash in Chingford.
Early Morning Crash on Station Road
Police were called at 3am on Monday, 7 May, to a collision on Station Road, E4. A car smashed into a female pedestrian, leaving her seriously hurt.
Woman’s Condition Critical
The victim was rushed to hospital with critical injuries. Officers are still working to confirm her identity.
Driver Arrested at Scene
The driver, a 23-year-old man in a Ford Focus, stayed at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He is now in custody at an east London police station.
