Motorcyclist left fighting for their life following Collision near Newchurch
Officers from the joint operation Armed response Roads Policing unit on the Isle of wight have closed the main Sandown to Newport Road following a collision involving a motorcyclist Police were called shortly before 10am on Friday morning to the Two vehicle collision. The road has been closed in both directions whilst officers deal with the incident. Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance service have also been called to the scene to treat the rider whom has potentially life-threatening crash between a motorcycle and a car. The incident has occurred outside the House of Chilli on the A3056 between Winford Road and Watery Lane. The main Sandown to Newport road has been closed in both directions as a result and will remain closed for sometime.
