Emergency services called after Child Fall in Freshwater

A fall from height on the Isle of Wight was attended to by the fire and ambulance services. An eleven-year-old fell from a height just after midnight on Saturday (August 4) promoting the services of the Isle of Wight ambulance service and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service. A co-responder from Freshwater Fire station was sent to the address on School Green Road, Freshwater Due to the complex layout and location, Paramedics called on the assistance of the fire service who used a salvage sheet to move the injured child to the ambulance. The child was then taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport for treatment.
