UPDATED:Emergency services called to Ventnor
Emergency services have been called in Mitchell Avenue, Ventnor following an incident. https://youtu.be/YYnl97mQQPE The road has been closed off as a number of emergency vehicles attend. One resident who asked not to be named said the ambulance arrive just after 6pm and then a second one arrived as well. The route three bus service from Southern Vectis has also been diverted as a result of the incident and has also caused delays to its services. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance have also been mobilised to the incident. It has landed at the nearby Ventnor rugby club. The seriously ill patient who is understood to have overdose was driven a short distance with the air ambulance doctor onboard and has now been packed and flown to a hospital on the mainland More to follow
