Woman remains critical after Tower Hamlets collision

Detectives investigating a serious road traffic collision in Tower Hamlets are appealing for witnesses. Police were called to Limeharbour, near to Crossharbour DLR station, E14, at approximately 11.45pm on Saturday, 25 May to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian. Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. The pedestrian – a 26-year-old woman – was treated at the scene for a number of injuries before being taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition. Her next of kin have been informed. The driver of the car, a red Vauxhall Astra, remained at the scene. There have been no arrests. Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area who may have witnessed the collision or who dashcam footage of the incident, or events leading up to the incident.
