Woman Critically Injured in Late-Night Crash Near Crossharbour DLR

Detectives are hunting witnesses after a serious crash in Tower Hamlets left a young woman fighting for her life.

Crash Rocks Limeharbour

Police were called to Limeharbour, close to Crossharbour DLR station, just before midnight on Saturday, 25 May. A 26-year-old woman was hit by a red Vauxhall Astra, sparking a major emergency response.

Victim in Critical Condition

Paramedics treated the pedestrian at the scene before rushing her to hospital, where she remains in critical condition. Her next of kin have been informed.

Driver Stays, No Arrests Yet

The driver stayed at the scene. So far, no arrests have been made as detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) dig into the details.
