Police have sadly confirmed the pedestrian involved in a collision on the A34 this morning died as a result. The 19-year-old, from Billericay, Essex, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. Officers are remain keen to hear from anyone who was driving on the A34 between the Kingsworthy junction and Three Maids Hill around 4.45am this morning. Anyone with information should call 101, quoting Operation Permit.
