Blaze Breaks Out at Grand Burstin Hotel in Folkestone

Firefighters from Kent Fire and Rescue are battling an incident at The Grand Burstin Hotel on Marine Parade, Folkestone.

Eight Fire Engines Rush to Scene

Just after 6pm on Saturday, eight pumping appliances were called in to tackle the emergency. A full evacuation of the hotel is underway as crews work urgently.

Public Told to Avoid Area

Police have cordoned off the hotel and are moving onlookers back to keep the area clear for fire crews. Neighbours report no visible smoke at the scene.

Authorities urge drivers and the public to steer clear to allow emergency teams to respond effectively.
