Two More Arrests in Neasden Murder Probe
Detectives chasing answers in the shocking murder of 38-year-old Justin Bello in Neasden have made two fresh arrests. A 48-year-old woman and a 38-year-old woman were detained earlier this month on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
Both have been bailed pending further inquiries. The elder woman is due to return by the end of July, the younger at the start of August.
Multiple Arrests in High-Profile Investigation
The hunt for Mr Bello’s killer has seen a string of arrests over the past months:
- 41-year-old man nabbed in Norfolk on 29 November, suspected of murder.
- 48-year-old caught in Cricklewood on 30 November, also suspected of murder.
- 47-year-old man arrested in Gipsy Hill on 5 December for assisting an offender.
- 51-year-old turned himself in at an east London station on 11 December for the same charge.
- 26-year-old walked into a south London station on 17 December, arrested for assisting an offender.
- 37-year-old attended a north London police station on 24 December, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
- Two men arrested on suspicion of murder in January—34-year-old in Upper Norwood and 31-year-old in Woolwich on the 24th.
All remain released under investigation as the police continue their inquiries.
The Grim Discovery and Ongoing Probe
Justin Bello’s lifeless body was discovered on 25 November in a communal area behind Lovett Way, NW10. A post-mortem at Northwick Park Mortuary ruled out stabbing or shooting as the cause of death—but details remain under wraps for operational reasons.
Homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command lead the investigation, backed by the North West Command Unit.
