Dover Stabbing Shocker: Suspect Charged After Teen Left Fighting for Life

A 19-year-old man was seriously injured in Dover after a brutal stabbing. Kent Police rushed to Beaconsfield Road at 9.40am on Tuesday 6 October 2020, following reports of the injured victim.

Victim Flown to London Hospital

The teenager, suffering wounds consistent with stabs, was airlifted to a London hospital. He remains in a stable condition, police confirmed.

Suspect Arrested and Charged

On Monday 12 October, officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate arrested 20-year-old Callum Andrews, who has no fixed address. He was charged with malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Andrews appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 14 October and was remanded in custody. He is due to face Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 16 November.

Other Arrests End Without Charges

A man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s were arrested shortly after the stabbing but have been released without charge.
