Police Hunt for Justin Bello’s Killer as Family Pleads for Justice
The body of 38-year-old Justin Bello was discovered in a communal area behind Lovett Way, NW10, early on 25 November 2019. Police were called to the scene at 8:16am, sparking a murder investigation.
A series of arrests have been made, but no charges have followed. A post-mortem at Northwick Park mortuary on 28 November ruled out stabbing or gunshot wounds as the cause of death.
Family’s Heartbreaking Plea
“It has been almost a year since so-called humans robbed us of our son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend in the most frightening and inhumane way imaginable,” Justin’s family said.
“Justin was truly loved by everyone who met him. Our pain will never go away. We push on for our children – to show them justice still exists. We must find those responsible, find out why they thought they had the right to end our Justin’s life.”
“These people are still out there, living among us. Maybe you know something. Maybe you laugh with them, share food, while hiding the terrible secret. Can you live with that?”
“If you have any info, no matter how small, please speak up. Call the police anonymously if you have to, but don’t keep this silence any longer. Help us stop these monsters before they strike again.”
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Pete Wallis from the Met’s Specialist Crime command echoed the family’s appeal:
“Justin’s family have implored anyone with information to come forward. We have detectives ready to take your call. If you don’t want to speak directly to us, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously. The key to justice lies within the community.”
