Motorcyclist Airlifted with Life-Threatening Injuries in Cornwall Crash

At about 4.35pm on Friday 4 December, police were called to a serious crash on the B3266 near St Tudy. A Gas Gas motorcycle smashed into a Citroen Berlingo van. The motorcyclist was airlifted by Cornwall Air Ambulance to Derriford Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Van Driver Escapes with Minor Injuries

The driver of the van suffered only minor injuries. Officers from Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team arrived swiftly, alongside a forensic collision investigator and scene of crime officer.

Police Launch Full Investigation and Seek Witnesses

A full forensic investigation was carried out at the scene. Police thanked the public for their patience during the inquiry. They are now appealing for anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
