Armed Police and Air Ambulance Swamp Quiet Kent Village in Late-Night Drama

Kent Police, backed by armed officers and the Kent, Sussex, and Surrey air ambulance, were scrambled to a property on Upper Street in Leeds village, just outside Maidstone. The emergency call came in at around 9.40pm on Sunday.

Multiple Injured Taken to Hospital

Two ambulances, including one escorted by police, raced several patients to hospital. Neighbours were left shaken as Upper Street turned into a flood of flashing blue lights and emergency sirens.

One local, who wished to remain anonymous, told us: “I heard a woman screaming out in pain, and she wouldn’t stop. It was terrifying.”

Air Ambulance Touches Down Amid Chaos

The air ambulance landed in a field behind the property. The neighbour initially feared a serious road collision. Police have kept details tight, only confirming the situation is a “serious incident.”

Police Guard Property – Arrests Unknown

Officers continue to guard the scene late into the night. It’s still not clear if anyone has been arrested. Both ambulances sped off under blue lights, one escorted by police.

Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for further updates.
