Drug Gang Busted in West Bromwich with £150k Worth of Crack Coke
Family Trio Tackled Drug Trade
Brothers Dylon and Reis Salhan teamed up with their cousin Gurvinder Dari to run a drugs operation moving several kilograms a week. The crew used encrypted messaging to keep their illegal business under wraps.
Massive Haul Seized in Police Raid
The cops raided an address on Green Street, West Bromwich, last July, uncovering drugs valued at over £150,000. They also found evidence of crack cocaine production and a stash of cash.
Three Sentenced to 12 Years Each
Dylon Salhan, 25, Reis Salhan, 24, both from Smethwick, and 29-year-old Gurvinder Dari from Cannock, all pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply and producing drugs. The trio was jailed for 12 years at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 3 July.
“Encrypted messaging couldn’t stop us tracking them down,” said a police spokesperson.
