Early Morning Burglary Attempt in Swanscombe

Witnesses wanted after a suspected burglary attempt in Swanscombe sparked a police chase and arrest.

Rapid Police Response

Just after 4.20am on Friday 4 August, Kent Police rushed to Milton Road following reports of a disturbance. Officers confronted two men who fled the scene in a car.

The vehicle was chased and brought to a halt in Milton Street, where both men exited. A 20-year-old London man was promptly arrested and taken into custody.

Investigation Ongoing – Police Seek Help

The suspect has now been bailed until November, as inquiries continue.

Kent Police urge anyone with information to come forward. Residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam footage from the area are especially asked to check for clues.
