Police Are Looking For Witnesses After A Woman Was Pushed In The Face And Her Phone Was Stolen In Trowbridge

The incident occurred around 11.50 p.m. on Thursday (16/02) on the footpath behind Barn Glebe, which connects to Farris Way/Oxford Gardens.

The female victim was walking her dog when she confronted another dog walker whose dog was not on a leash.

The suspect punched her in the face with his open palm and snatched her phone from her grasp, which he then tossed into a hedgerow.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins to 6ft tall, with a slim athletic build, crooked teeth, and a brown beard.

He was dressed in a cream knitted hat with a logo and a dark zip puffer jacket.

The suspect was walking from the Oxford Garden direction with a chocolate Labrador named Harvey before running off in that direction.

We have been given a brief clip of the suspect’s doorbell footage and would like to hear from anyone who recognises him or has additional footage.
