23-Year-Old Man Pulled from Overturned Car
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was rescued from the overturned vehicle and rushed to a hospital in east London. Thankfully, police confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening.
Police Secure Scene, No Arrests
Officers cordoned off the Yorkshire Grey Roundabout area where the collision took place. Metropolitan Police issued a statement:
“Police were called at 04:01hrs on Friday, 7 April to reports of a road traffic collision at the Yorkshire Grey Roundabout, SE9. Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and the London Air Ambulance attended. A car had overturned at the scene. LAS recovered a 23-year-old male from the overturned vehicle and transported him to an east London hospital where his condition was not life threatening. No arrests were made.”
Images circulated show the car flipped onto its back, highlighting the seriousness of the smash. Investigation continues, but no suspects are currently held.
