The incident happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. on April 25, when a pedestrian collided with a car on Lister Walk.

Emergency responders, including officers and London Ambulance Service crews, raced to the scene.

The woman was found with a broken leg and a slight head injury. She was rushed to a major trauma centre where doctors confirmed her injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

Another person was treated on-site but did not need hospital care.

No Arrests and Road Closures Eased

Police confirmed no arrests have been made related to the crash. Some road closures were put in place but have since been lifted to ease traffic.

London Ambulance Service: “We were called at 8:33 a.m. to reports of a road traffic collision in Lister Walk, Thamesmead. We dispatched two ambulance crews, including a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. We treated a patient for a leg injury and minor head injury and transported her to a major trauma centre. A second patient was assessed at the scene.”

Metropolitan Police: “Police were alerted at 8:35 a.m. to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at Crossway/Bayliss Avenue SE28. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.”
