Evening Walk Ends in Horror

What should have been a peaceful stroll turned fatal on January 9, 2024. A 28-year-old woman and her two dogs were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run on the A10 Cambridge Road, Edmonton. The victim’s identity remains private, but the heartache is clear. The dramatic collision occurred at around 7:23 pm, shattering a quiet evening.

Suspected Teen Driver Arrested and Bailed

Emergency services rushed to the scene, including the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and Air Ambulance. Despite their rapid response and life-saving attempts, the woman sadly died at the scene. The two dogs also lost their lives in the crash.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested over the incident on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. He has since been bailed pending further investigations.
