Man, 58, Hits Court Over Six Years of Shocking Sex Offences
A 58-year-old man faces a string of serious sex crime charges, including rape, linked to alleged attacks spanning six years in Banbury.
Serious Charges Unveiled
Derek Harcourt, formerly of Wokingham Road, is accused of multiple offences reportedly committed between August 2014 and July 2020. Thames Valley Police say the charges include:
- Two counts of rape
- Three counts of sexual assault
- One count of sexual activity with a child
- One count of assault by penetration
- One count of attempted sexual assault
- One count of voyeurism
Next Stop: Reading Magistrates Court
Harcourt has been charged by postal requisition and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 17.
