Two 14-year-old boys from the New Forest have been charged with rape threats to kill, and kidnapping following a serious sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl at Fordingbridge Recreation Ground on Friday, 17 January
One of the boys, from Fordingbridge, faces multiple charges, including: -Rape – Threats to kill – Possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place Kidnapping/false imprisonment with intent to commit a sexual offence.
The second boy, also from Fordingbridge, has been charged with: – Rape – Threats to kill – Kidnapping.
Both are set to appear at Southampton Youth Court this morning.
Investigation Details Police were called to the incident at 10:41pm on Friday, though it is believed the assault occurred earlier in the evening.
A third boy, a 13-year-old from Romsey, was also arrested in connection with the case but has since been released on conditional police bail pending further inquiries.

The 14-year-old girl is receiving support from specialist officers as investigations continue.
