Terrace House Blaze in Pinner Sparks Fire Engine Frenzy

Four fire engines and 25 firefighters raced to tackle a fierce blaze ripping through a terraced house on Durley Avenue, Pinner, Monday afternoon.

Swift Response from Multiple Fire Stations

The London Fire Brigade got the call at 3:37pm and quickly dispatched crews from Harrow, Northolt, Ruislip, and Stanmore. Firefighters arrived fast to find flames engulfing part of the first floor.

A 32-metre turntable ladder was deployed, giving crews an aerial edge to control and douse the fire from above.

No Injuries as Fire Brought Under Control

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the ordeal. The blaze was contained by 4:31pm thanks to the firefighters’ quick action.

“Crews responded promptly to a fire at a terraced house on Durley Avenue. Part of the first floor sustained fire damage, but thanks to the swift and effective response, the fire was contained and extinguished without injuries,” a London Fire Brigade spokesperson said.
