Crews, including an ambulance team, a fast response paramedic, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance trauma team, raced to the chaotic scene.
“The first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes. We treated one patient and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority,” a spokesperson confirmed.
Witnesses Describe ‘Chaotic and Terrifying’ Violence
Eyewitnesses and footage obtained by UK News in Pictures revealed a savage fight. Four men reportedly hacked at each other with knives and machetes as panicked park visitors scrambled for safety.
One local described the ordeal as “chaotic and terrifying,” a nightmare in an area usually peaceful.
Investigation Ongoing, Police Seek Public’s Help
The injured man’s condition remains unknown. The Metropolitan Police have yet to announce any arrests.
