A police-led incident has resulted in the full closure of the M25 clockwise between Junction 25 (Waltham Cross) and Junction 26 (Waltham Abbey) in Hertfordshire, sparking major delays and disruption for motorists this afternoon.

Diversion Route
Motorists affected by the closure are being advised to follow the officially marked diversion route, which uses a hollow triangle symbol on local signage:
- Exit the M25 at J25.
- Take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A10 southbound toward London.
- Continue to the Great Cambridge Junction and take the first exit onto the A406 North Circular eastbound.
- Join the M11 northbound at J4.
- Exit at M11 J6 to re-join the M25 clockwise.
