Car Flips On Roof After Serious Crash in Hatfield
A white car ended up upside down following a nasty collision on Hertford Road, Hatfield, late last night (April 24).
Emergency Services Race to Scene
Police received a 10.03pm call reporting a crash involving a white car and a white van. Officers and paramedics rushed in to find the car overturned. The driver suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.
Another man at the scene was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving but was later released pending further tests at the hospital.
Road Closures Cause Delays
To help emergency crews, authorities shut roads around the area. The closures lasted over two hours, only reopening at 12.28am on April 25.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Detectives are calling for anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage from the area to get in touch with police, quoting ISR 928 of 24 April.
