Body Found in Hunt for Missing Cheshire Woman Rachel Booth
A grim discovery has been made in the search for Rachel Booth, a 38-year-old woman from Northwich, Cheshire, who vanished over the weekend.
Last Seen Early Saturday Near Barnton
Rachel was last spotted by family in the Barnton area in the early hours of Saturday, July 19. The final confirmed sighting was around 3:50am at the Sandiway petrol station on the A556, about five miles from Barnton.
Search Zeroes In on Oakmere and Delamere Forest
Cheshire Police, joined by underwater search teams and Cheshire Search and Rescue, focused their efforts around Oakmere near Delamere Forest—a location they believe Rachel may have headed towards.
“Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be that of Rachel. Her family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers. They have requested privacy at this time.”
